Longman Dictionary Helper

Longman Dictionary Helper is a simple tool for typing characters to the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English 4th Edition (included Updated version). Let us forget the experiences on geting focus on the window, deleting the prvious inputs and typing the word for searching in using the Longman Dictionary. "Keep it simple" is the design goal.

Instead of typing the characters to the Longman, this tool will automatically input the word and fire the search command. You do not need to move your mouse just focus on the typing, whole process will auotomatic complete and the audio will also be recorded.

Usage tips

Using this tool, the only thing needs to do is just pressing the Alt+L to bring the tool up to the desktop and typing the word which you want to search. The helper system will automaticly finish the jobs: clear out the previous input result, focus the Longman input field and prepare to the next input.

Longman Dictionary Helper is a very young and beginning software, I do my best to make it clear and easy to use. May it will make your learning life more easier.

Step 1: unpack the compressed file

Step 2: use setup.exe to locate the directory of Longman Dictionary

Step 3: Longman Dictionary Helper.exe

1. This program just use an simple mechanics to send necessary operations to your machine. But this is guaranteed to work property on my laptop.

2. This program is a very beginning project, it maybe unstable running on your computer.
